HOLOMETABOLOUS OBJECTS

Holometabolous refers to the process of metamorphosis or the complete transformation that some insects undergo from egg through larva, pupa, and finally,  adult. This process can be complicated and may involve the dissolving of all skeletal structure and the emergence of an adult that is very different in form.
